Karma Pro Beauty Store: one webshop for both lash artists and private customers

Karma Pro Beauty Store sells lash products and hair and skin care to salons and private customers. We rebuilt the webshop, with pro accounts where approved businesses pay by invoice, and Klarna and Vipps for private customers.

What we changed

A new shop, new texts

The shop was rebuilt with the whole range, checked against the old one. The product texts were rewritten in Norwegian, without claims that could not be documented. The shop is available in Norwegian and English.

Filters that suit lash products

Lashes are filtered by technique, curl, thickness, length and colour. The filters only show options that exist in the category the customer is looking at.

Pro accounts with invoice

Businesses apply for a pro account with their organisation number, and the owner approves. Approved businesses can pay by invoice; private customers never see that option.

Payment and shipping that work

Private customers pay with Klarna or Vipps. Orders go on to Shipmondo, where shipping and labels are made.

The result

A private customer finds lashes by technique and curl and pays with Klarna or Vipps. A salon applies for a pro account from the menu and buys on invoice once the account is approved.

The owner decides who may buy on invoice, and orders go to Shipmondo without being typed in again. Menus, categories and products are changed in WordPress without code, with a guide written for the owner.

The shop is connected to our operations overview with read-only access, so we see orders, products and customers without being able to change anything. Read more about operations and maintenance.
