Websites for cleaning companies: better quote requests and more job applications

We build and run websites for cleaning companies in Norway that sell to households and businesses, with enquiries you can quote on and a jobs page that brings in applications.

Businesses in this industry we have worked with

From enquiry to quote

  1. The customer asks for a quote

Next to the form the customer sees that you are approved, and gives the area, frequency and address.

  2. You send a quote

The enquiry arrives already sorted, so you can give an estimate or arrange a visit.

  3. Applications have their own route

The applicant reads the ad in their own language and applies from their phone, to a separate address.

What we can improve

Earning trust

  • Your approval on show

Cleaning companies in Norway must be approved by the Labour Inspection Authority (Arbeidstilsynet), and many businesses check this. Show it, with a link to the register.

  • The paperwork customers ask for

Safety ID cards, insurance, keys, confidentiality and how deviations are handled, collected on one page you can link to.

  • Pages for households and businesses

A household wants to know what a move-out clean includes. A business wants to know about the agreement, routines and invoicing.

Better quote requests

  • A form with area and frequency

A step-by-step form with type of cleaning, square metres, frequency and start date. Short enough for a phone.

  • A price range, if you want one

A price range for common jobs can save phone calls. Whether prices are shown is your choice.

  • Area pages that are real

Pages for the areas you actually cover, with something concrete about each, and the same areas in your Google Business Profile. See also visibility on Google and in AI search.

  • Forms without spam

Bot submissions are stopped, so the real enquiries don’t get lost.

Recruitment

  • A page for job openings

A fixed address you can share in groups and ads, with the jobs that are open now.

  • The ad in several languages

The job text can be read in several languages on the same page.

  • Applying from a phone

A short form that goes to a separate address, kept apart from customers. See automation and integrations.

Questions we often get

What should a cleaning company’s website say?

Which types of cleaning you offer, to whom and where, and a simple way to ask for a quote. Show that you are approved by the Labour Inspection Authority. Keep households and businesses apart, because they ask about different things.

What should a cleaning quote form ask for?

The type of cleaning, roughly how many square metres, how often, the address and the preferred start date. For a move-out clean also the date, and for businesses what kind of premises. Then you can give an estimate or arrange a visit in the first conversation.

Should I show cleaning prices on my website?

It is your choice, but many customers want to see roughly what it costs. A price range for move-out cleaning or regular cleaning can be enough, subject to a visit. You can also just collect good details.

How do I get more applications for job openings?

Make a separate jobs page you can share, and write what the job actually involves. Make it readable in the languages your applicants use. Let people apply from their phone, to a separate address.

How do I stop spam in the contact form?

Stop bot submissions before they reach the inbox, instead of filtering afterwards. There are ways to do this that don’t ask the customer to click on pictures of traffic lights. Check afterwards that the real enquiries still arrive.

What kind of cleaning do you want to sell more of?

Tell us about your customers, the areas you cover and whether you are recruiting. You get a written proposal with scope and price before anything starts.
