Websites and table booking for restaurants, pubs and cafés

We build and run websites for restaurants, pubs and cafés in Norway, so bookings for tables, private parties and Christmas parties land in one place instead of five inboxes.

Businesses in this industry we have worked with

From a search to a confirmed table

  1. The guest finds you

Google shows the right opening hours, and the website has the events from Facebook.

  2. The guest books, a staff member approves

The form only shows times you take bookings, and whoever is on shift says yes or no.

  3. The guest gets an answer

The confirmation only goes out after a yes, and every booking is in one list.

What we can improve

Being found

  • A Google profile that is correct

Opening hours, holiday hours, menu and booking link that match the website. See help with your Google Business Profile.

  • The menu as text, not a PDF

Easy to read on a phone, easy to update, and Google can read it.

  • Pages of their own for Christmas parties and events

Christmas parties, a function room, catering or live music get pages of their own, because that is what people search for.

Taking bookings

  • Table booking with your rules

Opening hours, kitchen hours and closed days decide which times a guest can pick. Large tables can need approval.

  • Approval before the answer

A staff member says yes or no from the e-mail. The guest only gets a confirmation after a yes.

  • Private parties, Christmas parties and catering

Forms of their own ask for the date, number of guests, menu and allergies straight away. That saves three rounds of e-mail.

  • The booking system you already have

If you have a booking system, we connect the website to it. See automation and integrations.

Less manual work

  • Events from Facebook

What you post on Facebook shows up on the website without anyone copying it across.

  • E-mail that actually arrives

Confirmations to guests don’t end up in spam. See when e-mails from your website don’t arrive.

  • A simple guide for the staff

How to approve, decline and find today’s bookings, in plain words for the people working behind the bar.

Measuring and running

  • Measuring with consent

A count of bookings you can trust, with a consent banner that follows the rules. See tracking and ads.

  • Someone keeping an eye on it

We keep the site up to date and check that bookings arrive. See operations and maintenance.

  • Fast on a phone

Most guests open the site on their phone, often while out. The site loads on a weak signal too.

Questions we often get

What should a restaurant website include?

Opening hours, the menu as text, the address with a map, a phone number and a clear way to book a table. Add pages for what you sell most of, such as private parties or Christmas parties. All of it has to work well on a phone.

Can table booking be linked to Google?

Yes, you can add a booking link to your Google profile that goes straight to the booking page. Some booking systems have their own link to Google, but that depends on the provider. The opening hours should be the same on Google and on the website.

Do we have to change booking system to get a new website?

No. If you are happy with your booking system, we connect the website to it. We only suggest changing if it can’t do what you need, for example approval before the guest gets an answer.

How do we stop bookings coming in when the kitchen is closed?

Let the form follow your opening and kitchen hours, so it only shows times you take bookings. Closed days and special opening hours are entered in one place and apply to both the form and the website.

Should we have our own ordering on the website as well as Wolt or Foodora?

It depends on how much you sell there and what the commission costs you. The platforms give you visibility, while your own ordering gives you the customers yourself. Many places have both, and then the menu and prices must be the same everywhere.

Can customers order catering or party food on the website?

Yes. The order form can ask for the date, number of people, delivery or pick-up and allergies, and only show dates you actually accept. The order arrives in one place, and you confirm before the customer gets an answer, the way Pavarotti Pub does with buffets and Christmas parties. Payment can be by invoice or Vipps once the order is confirmed.

How do bookings come in today?
